Drug and Alcohol Policy

KALFRELEC SA, by virtue of its obligation to maintain a healthy and safe working environment, undertakes to implement the necessary prevention and protection measures guaranteeing the health and safety of its employees, customers, visitors, suppliers and subcontractors.

Thus, each KALFRELEC employee has the responsibility and obligation to carry out activities in compliance with their own health and safety, that of other employees, customers and the public.

Aware of the dangers of alcohol and drugs to the health and safety of people, KALFRELEC decides to apply this policy in our sites, at customers, suppliers, subcontractors, in vehicles and machinery or any other vehicles used for the purposes of the company.

  • PROHIBITIONS

It is forbidden for any employee to consume, possess, dispose of, distribute or sell any type of drug or alcohol, in any form whatsoever.

It is forbidden for any employee to report to and/or be at work under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • DISCIPLINARY MEASURES

Any employee caught in the act of consuming, possessing, disposing of, distributing, or selling any type of drug or alcohol will be immediately expelled from the premises. Disciplinary measures and sanctions as outlined in the company rules will be applied.

KALFRELEC SA reserves the right to conduct unannounced alcohol and drug tests on its staff, suppliers, and subcontractors. Any refusal may result in disciplinary action.

KALFRELEC SA values the application of this policy by all employees, suppliers and subcontractors without exception.
